I go the stand and a pair of dumbbells about a month ago. The stand and dumbbells have been great. The only complaint I had with the stand is its not straight in away. When they cut the metal material for the stand it's angles were off. So the feet of the stand didn't match each other.
Since I am moving from Bowflex 552 dumbells to the Nuobell, I can tell you that the Nuobell is an excellent high quality product. I definitely like that balance you have as it is similar to fixed weight dumbells which makes it easier when you are performing bench press or military press at the higher weight levels. That balance also helps as you lower the heavier weights after high rep or high weight sets. Also, only a click to add +/- weight which only takes a second so that you can hit your next set. And, the all black versions are slick and worth the few extra $. I also bought the stand (version that includes the crossbar) and do you the crossbar (feet grab) as an aide to return to a sitting position after high rep bench presses. Buy Nuobell! Finally a set of dumbells that are like fixed weight dumbells (balance, grip, metal plates).
I have had the Nuobell stand for the Last 30 days, if you're getting the dumbells, do yourself a favor and get the stand. I know. “I could just bend down and get them” yea, I tried it for a few months, not worth the pain.

This rack looks great and feels ultra solid. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up in the coming months but so far looks great and definitely definitely definitely is better than picking these weights off the floor. I wish I bought the rack sooner because it’s hard to lift off the ground without hurting your back.
